Toni Elias will race for Forward Racing for the rest of the MotoGP season following the departure of Claudio Corti. Former Moto2 World Champion Elias made an appearance for AB Motoracing at this year's Indianapolis round as a replacement for injured Karel Abraham, but he also spent several seasons with Gresini Racing while he also had stints with Pramac Racing and Team LCR.
