Espargaro to ‘try and race’ at MotoGP Mugello
Ecstar Suzuki’s Aleix Espargaro will try to race at this weekend’s Mugello MotoGP after undergoing surgery to repair a hand ligament in a crash he describes as one of the worst in his career. Espargaro had a positive ultrasound examination today in Barcelona to evaluate the recovery process of his injured right hand and further checks will be done day-by-day in terms of pain and riding capabilities “I’m happy because doctors said the recovery process is positive and I definitely want to try to race.
