Vinales: There's no way I could've beaten Marquez
Maverick Vinales said sixth was the maximum he could have achieved in the Austrian Grand Prix, due to a lack of grip in the latter stages of the Spielberg race. Starting sixth on the grid, Vinales spent the entire race in the same position, running with the leading group of the two Ducatis, two Yamahas and Marc Marquez initially. While the first four soon separated themselves from Marquez and Vinales, the Suzuki rider reckoned it was impossible to pass the championship leader despite the duo running close together for the rest of the race.
