Ducati sets new standard for pole man Dovizioso
Pole man Andrea Dovizioso says he has never had such a positive feeling with a MotoGP bike after taking the top spot on the Ducati GP15 for Sunday's opening round of the World Championship in Qatar. Dovizioso clinched pole with a time of 1m 54.113s to head up the front row from Repsol Honda pair Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez. The Italian rider has made strong progress with the GP15 throughout the pre-season tests and Dovizioso couldn't be happier with the performance of the machine ahead of the curtain-raiser under the floodlights at Losail.
