IRISHMAN Eugene Laverty jumped from eighth to fourth after a battle with two other riders and with thanks to Andrea Iannone wiping both Ducati’s out.   Finishing top Independent Team, Laverty described the last lap as special amidst a very unique race for all riders due to a mid-race bike change due to safety concerns. Charging from 14th to tenth in just a few laps on the second bike saw Laverty battle with Hector Barbera and Pol, Espargaro for eighth place.
