MotoGP Qatar: Tyre trouble hampers Smith
Britain’s Bradley Smith will find himself up against all manner of soft-tyred opposition in the fight for a qualifying two spot tomorrow after his final run in free practice three fell foul of tyre trouble. Smith, who didn’t outright say his last medium compound tyre was duff, only mustered 16th place on the combined sheets as all about him upper their pace. His 1'55.905 was two-tenths slower than his best yesterday. “The end result today wasn’t what we planned at all.
