Cal Crutchlow labelled Mike Di Meglio as “idiotic” after the Frenchman held him up during Thursday’s opening practice session at Losail. The Briton encountered the Avintia rider at the final corner late in the session and gesticulated in his direction to show his displeasure, the CWM-LCR Honda rider claiming Di Meglio and the other riders were warned against slowing at that part of the circuit. “I had an issue on my fastest lap with a rider in the last corner, and this comes after a briefing we had an hour before the session saying that we weren’t allowed to wait in that corner.
