Redding: It wasn't the perfect start
Scott Redding encountered a few small issues as the British prospect kicked off his 2015 MotoGP challenge in earnest on the Marc VDS Honda RC213V in Qatar. The Team Estrella Gailicia 0,0 rider had problems with the tank cover on the bike and experienced trouble with the brakes as he finished 12th fastest in FP1 at Losail, lapping in 1m 56.374s as he finished a second down on Marc Marquez on the Repsol Honda. “We had a couple of small issues with the tank cover and the brakes, so it wasn't the perfect start, but it was better to get these issues out of the way now,” Redding explained. “We used the hard tyre at the beginning before switching to the soft at the end, which made a big...
