Lorenzo willing to wait for new contract
Reigning MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo has revealed that he is willing to wait until the halfway point of the upcoming season to sign a new contract with Yamaha. Lorenzo has made it clear that he wants to sign a new deal as soon as possible, but conceded that negotiations have yet to begin. Yamaha boss Lin Jarvis has said that keeping hold of Lorenzo remains a “priority” as there is mounting speculation that Ducati are interested in acquiring his services.
