Rossi to use hybrid Yamaha bike going forward
Valentino Rossi says he will use the hybrid 2015-16 Yamaha MotoGP bike going forward, having compared it to the full 2016 version during the final day of testing at Phillip Island. As the second pre-season test drew to a close on Friday, Rossi ended as top Yamaha rider in fifth place, 0.277s adrift of pacesetter Marc Marquez. The Italian had spent the day comparing the hybrid bike – which uses last year's frame with an updated engine, suspension and electronics – and the full 2016 bike, and concluded the hybrid was the better choice. "We have one bike similar to last year, and another one that is more different," Rossi explained to reporters at the end of the day....
