The opening day of the second 2016 MotoGP test is underway at Phillip Island in Australia. The test has got off to a wet start, with only ten riders on track so far. Birthday boy Marc Marquez took over at the top from Cal Crutchlow when the weather improved shortly before 2pm, only for the showers to return. New Marc VDS signing Jack Miller is due back on track, having missed the Sepang test while recovering from a broken leg in a motocross training accident.
