The second day of the official MotoGP test of 2016 is underway at Sepang in Malaysia. Reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo was fastest by one-second over Movistar Yamaha team-mate Valentino Rossi on day one. Retired double world champion Casey Stoner is back on track for Ducati, meaning he is riding alongside the MotoGP race riders for the first time since 2012. The test was red flagged from 10:40-12:00 after a 290km/h (180mph) accident for Loris Baz on the main straight. The exact cause of the accident is unclear but Michelin has withdrawn that (soft) spec of rear tyre as a precaution. Tyre pressures have also been slightly raised.
