Day 1 MotoGP test Sepang: Yamaha dominates, Honda struggling Defending MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo has set the fastest time in the first of three days of MotoGP testing in Sepang. The champ set best time of 2:00.684, the Spaniard made 1 plus seconds gap ahead of Valentino Rossi, trailing by +1033 with his 2:01.717. Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa trailing set third fastest with 2:01.780. Octo Pramac rider Danilo Petrucci made an excellent fourth fastest lap-time, best with 2:01.811 ahead of Ducati factory rider Andrea Iannone, who post fifth quickest lap-time.
