Stoner to join official MotoGP test on Tuesday
Ducati have just confirmed that Casey Stoner will be on track tomorrow, for day two of the official Sepang MotoGP test. It will mark the first time the double world champion has ridden alongside MotoGP race riders, and with official timing, since retiring from MotoGP at the end of 2012 Stoner made his Ducati return during a private test at Sepang on Saturday, when he set a best lap time of 2m 2.1s, on a dirty track and using last year's GP15. As of 3:30pm on Monday's opening day of official testing, Stoner's lap time would have put him fifth fastest.
