MotoGP Malaysia - Free Practice (2) Results
MotoGP title contender Jorge Lorenzo sets the fastest Friday time at the Malaysian Grand Prix, with morning pace setter Dani Pedrosa forced to settle for second in FP2. Valentino Rossi did not improve on his morning time having been unhappy after a late change to new medium tyres. Rossi spent most of the session on hard tyres, front and rear. Rossi leads team-mate Lorenzo by 11 points with two rounds of the MotoGP season remaining. For Rossi to win the title on Sunday, he would need to push his advantage up to 26 points.
