Scott Redding saved a front-end moment through the fastest corner of the Misano circuit using his elbow during Saturday's Qualifying 1 session. But the incident cost him time and he missed the cut to join the top ten riders in Qualifying 2. The Englishman will instead line-up 13th on the grid for Marc VDS Honda. "On my last flying lap I lost the front through turn 11 and had to hold it up on my elbow while trying to regain traction on the gas, but it meant I ran wide.
