Andrea Iannone hopes to use the extra motivation generated by competing in front of Ducati's partisan fans at Misano this weekend to spur him to a solid result. Iannone has only contested two premier class races at the Marco Simoncelli circuit but qualified on the front row last year before ending the race in fifth place.
