Rossi: There will be a lot of pressure on me
MotoGP World Championship leader Valentino Rossi admits he will be under extra pressure this weekend at Misano as the Movistar Yamaha rider aims to bolster his title advantage. Rossi capitalised on the wet conditions at Silverstone last time out to clinch a timely victory, opening a lead of 12 points over team-mate Jorge Lorenzo. The nine-time world champion has yet to finish outside the top three this season on the M1 and Rossi boasts an impressive record at the Marco Simoncelli circuit, triumphing last year in San Marino and taking two wins in 2008 and 2009, third in 2010 and second in 2012.
