Pedrosa bemoans track conditions in Qatar
Dani Pedrosa expects a more productive day in Qatar on Sunday after dirty track conditions at the spectacular Losail International Circuit hindered his progress on Saturday. The Repsol Honda rider improved his pace on the RC213V at the end of the session as he tried out some different fork settings to slot into fifth position on the time sheets with a time of 1m 55.813s. Pedrosa, who was 0.548s off the fastest time of the opening day recorded by Ducati's Andrea Iannone on the GP15 machine, said: “In Qatar the first day is always difficult due to the conditions of the track.
