Fresh from reducing Valentino Rossi's lead in the standings, Jorge Lorenzo is determined to close the gap even further in the Czech Republic. Although Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez won last weekend's round in Indianapolis, Lorenzo finished second with his Yamaha teammate Rossi claiming the final podium position. It helped the Spaniard to cut Championship leader Rossi's lead to just nine points with eight rounds still left this season.
