Sam Lowes refused to be too downcast after he fell out of the podium battle in Sunday's Moto2 race at Indianapolis. The Englishman was suffering with tonsillitis through the weekend but insisted it wasn't having too many negative repercussions on the bike. Having qualified seventh, Lowes was an early leader as the track had more or less dried before earlier showers of rain when the lights went out. However, such is the nature of the Indianapolis surface, the precipitation lowered grip levels and the Speed Up rider soon found his machine wasn't ideally set-up. Maintaining a consistent pace despite dropping off the leading group of five mid-race, Lowes was soon able to close in on the podium...
