MotoGP returns to Silverstone in 2015
MotoGP will return to Silverstone in 2015 after circuit bosses finalised a deal with right holder Circuit of Wales after an existing partnership with Donington Park fell apart. The event will still take place over the weekend of 28–30 August. The race was in jeopardy yesterday when Donington pulled out of their agreement over money problems, something denied by Circuit of Wales bosses but Silverstone have today stepped into the breach. “A lot of work has been done over recent years to ensure MotoGP fans enjoy what Silverstone has to offer and it was devastating for the venue to lose the event last autumn.
