Stefan Bradl will turn out for Aprilia Racing Team Gresini for the remainder of the 2015 MotoGP season. The German left Forward Racing earlier in the week, and was immediately linked with Aprilla, who had a spare seat after parting ways with Marco Melandri. Michael Laverty had replaced Melandri for last month's race in Germany, but Aprilla have picked Bradl to see out the rest of the campaign alongside Alvaro Bautista. Laverty will return to his role as test rider. Bradl was the 2011 Moto2 World Champion, but has struggled to replicate that form in the premier class, securing just one podium finish in three-and-a-half seasons in MotoGP. Teamtalk
