Hayden boosts time by eight tenths on Aspar Honda
Nicky Hayden ended the second Sepang MotoGP test on a high after boosting his time by eight tenths of a second on the Drive M7 Aspar Honda. The 2006 premier class champion set his fastest lap in 2m 00.813s to finish 17th fastest over the course of the three-day shakedown on the RC213V-RS, 1.698s behind Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez. The American star admits that his final position on the time sheets is not 'spectacular,' but Hayden is pleased with the progress he has made this week in Malaysia. “To be honest we took a big step forward.
