Team Suzuki Ecstar rider Aleix Espargaro was quickest after Friday's MotoGP second Free Practice at the Grand Prix of Catalunya in Barcelona. With track conditions getting better all day ahead of FP2 most riders improved their times from the morning session. Espargaro has clearly benefitted from the upgrades to his GSX-RR machine by putting in a 1:42.183. Honda’s Marc Marquez got to within half a second of the Suzuki ( 0.285s). In third was his team-mate Dani Pedrosa 0.0631s) ahead of Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso ( 0.665s).
