Avintia Racing's Hector Barbera has undergone successful surgery in Barcelona to counter problems with arm pump, but his participation in the next round of the MotoGP World Championship at Catalunya on June 14 is in doubt. Barbera, who finished 13th at Mugello on Sunday in the Italian MotoGP, has been experiencing problems in his right forearm at the last three rounds of the championship. The Spanish rider was treated in the Hospital Universitari Quirón Dexeus in Barcelona on Monday.
