Barbera confident of home Ducati form
Hector Barbera is counting on Ducati's home knowledge to reassert his dominance on the MotoGP Open class this weekend at Mugello. The Avintia rider was beaten for only the second time this season at Le Mans, when he finished a season-worst third in class behind Nicky Hayden (Honda) and Loris Baz (Forward Yamaha). Barbera (recently given a GP14.1 chassis) is now just five points clear of former world champion Hayden (who had a new Honda swingarm at Le Mans) heading into the Italian round. “I'm looking forward to the Italian Grand Prix because Mugello is a track I really like and it's also the Ducati circuit,” Barbra said. “It's an Italian factory and our bikes have made thousands of...
