Moto2 engine supplier open to tenders for 2019 onwards
The tender for the contract to be the engine supplier for the Moto2 contract has been put open to bidders from the beginning of the 2019. At present Honda supplies the 600cc engines and having had the contract since 2010 it will be very interesting to see if anyone will challenge them for the deal with Dorna. With, at that point, nine seasons of data in the class it's likely that chassis and suspension manufacturers would prefer to see Honda remain as the sole supplier given that it will still be a control engine in place with this new contract.
