Dani Pedrosa confirms MotoGP return
Dani Pedrosa will return to MotoGP action in this weekend's French round at Le Mans. The Repsol Honda star has been absent for the past three events after 'complicated and aggressive' surgery on his forearm. The downcast Spaniard sought surgery after arm pump problems in the Qatar season-opener. But his medical options were limited by two unsuccessful operations for the same condition on the same right forearm. As a result, the April 3 operation saw doctors go a step further, completely removing the layer of fascia - the casing around the muscle - which was causing the cramp-like symptoms in the heat of battle.
