Marquez, Lorenzo praise rising star Quartararo
MotoGP champions Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo have praised the performance of Moto3 rookie Fabio Quartararo. The young Frenchman, who recently turned 16, claimed his first grand prix podium in Texas and added a first pole position at Jerez on Saturday. Jerez is the first circuit of the season that the Estrella Galicia 0,0 rider already knows and he is unsurprisingly tipped to fight for a debut grand prix victory on Sunday. “What can I say? In my fourth grand prix I was in 20th or 22nd!” said Lorenzo, starting on pole in the MotoGP class.
