Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez admitted that his injured finger caused him considerable pain as the reigning MotoGP champion finished third fastest overall on the combine times on day one at Jerez. Marquez improved from eighth in FP1 to finish second fastest behind Movistar Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo in the afternoon.
