Laverty: We ve come a long way
After two new circuits, MotoGP rookie Eugene Laverty will be back on more familiar territory for this weekend's opening European event at Jerez. The Irishman is eager to translate practice and qualifying form into race results - especially after Argentina, where he started as the top Open Honda in 14th only to suffer a lack of rear grip and suspension issues on his way to 17th in the race. “We did a great job all weekend in Argentina, probably the best we have done since I started in MotoGP, but we didn't manage to back it up with a performance in the race,” Laverty confirmed. “I know we can be strong at Jerez in practice and we have to work very hard to make sure that Sunday doesn't...
