MotoGP to remain at Barcelona until at least 2021
MotoGP and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain have announced an extended deal that will see the track host the Catalan Grand Prix until at least 2021. A new five-year contract has been agreed MotoGP organisers Dorna Sports and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, securing the future of the race. Barcelona has hosted a MotoGP round since 1992, initially being run under the European Grand Prix name before adopting the Catalan Grand Prix from 1996 onwards.
