HRC vice-president Shuhei Nakamoto has accused the Ducati MotoGP team of telling a “flat lie” about why winglets have been banned for the 2017 season. Following intensive development of winglets by all five premier class manufacturers, after they were pioneered by Ducati last year, the decision was taken earlier in the year to ban the devices for next season.
